Feels like brains of people working in government institutions function on a different wavelength or they simply live in a parallel reality. Road signs for road repair works are set up a week before the actual works even start and are removed not when the road works end, but some time after. WHY?

One state institution website is made in a way, that when I go there to find a list of certain companies (I know it is somewhere there, as the institution maintains it) there are dozens of links and files available. They all have info about the list, how you can be added to the list, when they remove you from the list, the application form… but NO list itself. WHY?

When developers make a state application or website, it usually screams 90ies. They were developed quite recently, but font style, layout, overall design gives the impression as if the app or website has been there for deeecades already and no updates have ever been made. WHY? Website for a state institution related to cybersecurity looks like it was made when I was in primary school istg. They are all super experts on IT and cybersecurity, but their website kinda makes me wonder are they really?

I prolonged (not sure though) one digital feature provided by state. In the state services website I received two messages – that the feature is active and then the latest message in my inbox is that the feature is annulled. SERIOUSLY? So is that feature active or not? I imagine that checking it will also involve me navigating through the darkest and most confusing paths of the state institution website.

I guess we both look at the same thing or process, but see it totally differently.

Yesterday (and some days before that) I received an orange level warning about expected strong thunderstorms with heavy rain, lightning and hail (the big, nasty one). But both times these predictions did not come true. Both times the sky was clear, sun was out lovingly warming me, birds chirping. A light breeze rustling in the leaves. And I wondered….. is there someone in the meteo place silently hoping the prediction comes true and prognosed thunderstorm goes wild with all the predicted effects. Because if not, people will think (and I certainly did) “ugh, those weather people again, just sowing panic and interrupting my day in vain”.

I do realize that predicting weather is an ungrateful business. Weather is capricious and where thunderstorm clouds will actually unload cannot be predicted with a hundred percent certainty. But, bro. Several such high-ish level warnings that come to nothing and no way I can genuinely keep my trust in the next warning to come.

Lately I have been wondering if people are aware that such thing as earphones exist. I am seeing people walking around the city while talking with someone on the phone on loudspeaker, and I am hearing the whole conversation. But why? Is it just me who would not want the whole world to know details of my life?
I am seeing people walking on quiet nature trails listening to music or radio on full volume. Feel free to listen to it all, just USE THE DAMN EARPHONES.
Another distinct group is people in cafes and cantines who watch videos on full volume while eating. How little disregard for other people do you have? I just want to drink my coffee and eat the much needed snack in a calm environment or with the quiet-ish music the cafe or shopping center intended, and definitely without the added dynamic noise from entertainment videos that are made to be active and loud.
People. Listen and watch whateeeeever you want, talk to your friend for hours, just be a decent person – USE EARPHONES IN PUBLIC PLACES!!!
